DeAnna had her spring program at preschool last night. Her class was dressed as ducks and they sang a little song. None of the pictures came out very well because we were too far away. I did get some pictures of DeAnna before the event. She was so excited to get ready to "go sing with her friends" that she was ready way too early. Soon she was tumbling in her dress in the living room!
This is the story of our family beginning with the adoption of our adorable, sweet, and spunky daughter Deanna, whom we adopted from Ukraine in February, 2008, at the age of 4. We have 2 handsome sons, Jordan 20, and Jeremy 22, and Deanna, now 6, completes our family. Deanna was born with a cleft lip and palate. Her palate was never repaired in Ukraine so that was the first thing we took care of after we brought her home. Due to this she has never been able to speak normally, so we are working hard in speech therapy. Aside from this she is very healthy and really has no other issues. Deanna is an amazing, loving, resiliant girl and we are blessed to have her.
