DeAnna has started to play t-ball this spring. She really seems to enjoy it, and tackles it with her usual enthusiasm. She is beginning to learn the rules of the game, with the rest of the kids on the team. Her first inning in the field, she got the ball and proceeded to do a happy dance, neglecting to throwing the ball to first base. The kids all fight to field the balls and DeAnna is usually in the middle of the pile. Players be warned, if you bump heads she won't be the one to come up crying!
This is the story of our family beginning with the adoption of our adorable, sweet, and spunky daughter Deiana, whom we adopted from Ukraine in February, 2008, at the age of 4.We have 2 handsome sons, Jordan, and Jeremy , and Deiana, now completes our family. Deiana was born with a cleft lip and palate. Her palate was never repaired in Ukraine so that was the first thing we took care of after we brought her home. Due to this she had never been able to speak, so we had to work very hard at home and in speech therapy. Aside from this she is very healthy and really has no other issues. Deiana is an amazing, loving, resiliant girl and we are blessed to have her.
